I’m So Bad

Danzig – Betcha by Riva Ridge

First: 2
Second: 3
Third: 0

Well-bred and good-looking, I’m So Bad was anything but.

The bay son of legendary sire Danzig joined Centennial Farms during the relative infancy of his sire’s world-class career. Capable on dirt, turf, wet, dry, sprinting or going long, I’m So Bad did a little bit of everything during his career.

At his best at three, the great Allen Jerkens orchestrated a victory in Monmouth Park’s G3 Long Branch Stakes as the biggest win of the colt’s career. It was also one of the biggest victories for popular jockey Nick Santagata, who piloted over 4,000 winners and remains a beloved fixture on the NYRA circuit as a valet.
