Overview

Candy Ride is undoubtedly one of the nation’s top sires, with Horse of the Year Gun Runner, a pair of two-year-old champions, and a plethora of other top horses to his credit. This colt is a half-brother to an impressive juvenile winner from a world-class family.

He shipped to Middleburg, Virginia immediately following the sale, where he is undergoing his early training.  He was made eligible for the lucrative Virginia-Certified Residency Program.   Named after the historic New England candy company that made the first conversation hearts, it was fitting to announce his name on Valentine’s Day – meet Necco.
