Preservationist breezes at Belmont Park.

First: 3
Second: 1
Third: 2

Outstandingly bred and with looks to match, Preservationist added up to the best yearling prospect we had ever purchased. His sire, Arch, has produced champions on three continents, on dirt and turf, going long and short. His deep female family traces back to Remedia, daughter of the legendary Dr. Fager out of the wonderful European classic winning mare Monade. The family has produced generations of standout runners, including Queena, Chic Shirine, Serra Lake, Somali Lemonade, Verrazano, and Hungry Island.

Preservationist is in training at Belmont Park with Jimmy Jerkens.   He returned to the winner’s circle on February 2 with another strong race matching his highest Beyer number of 97.   He keeps his “on the board” record intact at 100%.   Preservationist has been nominated to the Stymie Stakes which is run on March 9 at Aqueduct.   The race is run at a mile distance and carries a purse of $150,000.
