Overview

This colt is from the first crop of Silver State, winner of the prestigious and sire-making G1 Metropolitan Handicap. His young dam has already produced two stakes horses, including $620,000-earner E J Won the Cup, bred on a similar cross to this fellow.

He settled at the Middleburg Training Center for his early training and has been made eligible for the lucrative Virginia Residency Program.  The colt was one of the first two-year-old’s to ship to Todd Pletcher in Saratoga on May 24 to continue training towards his debut.  He is currently stabled at Palm Beach Downs in Delray Beach, Florida.

Argent Heir started his racing career February 27 at Tampa Bay Downs against 3YO maiden competition finishing a solid second.
