Overview

Champion Nyquist stamped himself as an elite sire right out of the gate. Icemaker hails from a phenomenal female family – his dam is a 3/4-sister to Eclipse Award winner She’s a Tiger and multiple Grade 1 winner Smiling Tiger.

Icemaker did well in his early training at the Middleburg Training Center, where he was been made eligible for the lucrative Virginia Residency Program.  He is on the stable roster for trainer Todd Pletcher and currently stabled in Saratoga.

Icemaker started his career October 3 at the fall “BAQ” meet.
