This well-bred colt, from the family of G1 winners like Well Chosen and Telling, hails from the same breeding program that produced 2020 Kentucky Derby and Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Authentic.
He shipped to Middleburg, Virginia immediately following the sale, where he was made eligible for the lucrative Virginia-Certified Residency Program. In early December Forthright shipped from the farm and joined trainer Todd Pletcher in Delray Beach, Florida at Palm Beach Downs Training Center.
