Maxfield has gotten off to a terrific start at stud and we were thrilled to land a colt from his second crop at the Keeneland September Sale. This colt hails from a truly outstanding family that has been developed by the Phipps family for generations. It’s now also in the hands of St. Elias Stable – the same team that bred dual classic winner Golden Tempo.
Fiddian gets his name from famed sculptor Nic Fiddian-Green, currently the subject of a stunning indoor-outdoor exhibit at the National Sporting Library & Museum in Middleburg. Just a few miles away from the museum, Fiddian has been thriving in his training with Paula Parsons. He was made eligible for the lucrative Virginia Residency Program.
